​Priscilla C. Johnson, or ‘Cilla, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, has been a Book Maniac since she attended PS #159 in Cherry Hill Homes Projects.
She has served as organizer for Sistahs n’ Sync Book Club and served as event coordinator for Sepia, Sand and Sable Books. She is credited for hosting book signings and events for Beverly Jenkins, Marcus Major, Omar Tyree, Terri Woods, E. Lynn Harris, Annoted Authors Authors on Tour, (AAOT) and others.
Cilla is also a member of A Place of Our Own (APOOO) Book Club and A Place Of Our Own (APOOO) Review Group, under the leadership of Yasmin Coleman. APOOO, one of the Premier Book Clubs and on-line Review Teams since 2000, is dedicated to advancing African American literature in all genres.
Cilla is a member of the LEB Street Team (Leslie Esdaile Banks or LA Banks), Lutishia Lovely’s VIPs, the Face Book group Cilla’s Book Maniacs and Readers Who Enjoy Black Romance Books Yahoo Book Club. Cilla is the manager of AC Arthur’s Angelz, formerly known as Shadow Shifter Street Team.
Cilla has given presentations at Romance Slam Jam Conferences since 2011 on topics such as How to Write Book Reviews, How to Build a Book Club and How to Build Street Teams.
After years of helping and advisors aspiring authors and helping authors build readers, Cilla has finally decided to Step out on Faith and start a consulting company.
